Time for T

Tea - as you may recall is the supper/dinner meal in Australia. No we didn't go to Australia BUT we had an AMAZING Australian dinner! Their last name is T, so we had Time for T! What is an Australian dinner? A time to "say grace" not "pray" and a time to have food not "just drinks" poor Joshua was confused a couple times! ha ha ha!!

The T family lives not too far from us here in Maadi. We went up to the roof of their building and took photos with Rob's new "toy" of what we saw. You can see the Nile and if you look very closely thru the windows of another building you can see the Giza Pyramids! ok, no not really.....a bigger building is blocking the way.

Really neat viewpoint of what Maadi really looks like - we just happen to live in a VERY quiet "private" neighborhood. We found out last week that not only is it full of US Embassy people here, but also British, so OBVIOUSLY it's much more protected and quiet and no real "building" going on.

Here's some pictures!!

Jasmine's stuck in the middle here with a shot from the park. She doesn't have school for awhile since it's a big holiday like Christmas here :)

Time for T, too....

we actually didn't leave at the last minute tonight, to walk across to church.....so imagine my surprise when the service was ALMOST OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then we found out....since RamaDaan ends today (today is the day of the feast!) that they changed the time (AGAIN) last night...so we're 7 hrs ahead of Michigan again.....Caleb, Joshua and Jasmine are looking at plant life in the microscope, his mom will be here soon as well as our friend James....they had clean up at church in different areas.
