Mom Goes Back to the Beginning of History...

My mom walked among giants today.......at the Egyptian Museum
in Arabic literal translation is mthf msry (mat-haf musree)

Taxi Ayman took us and came back for us - we had a GLORIOUS day! We picnicked in the gardens outside the building. No photos inside :( But mom got some great ones outside! Here ya go, enjoy our glimpse of history!

Tomorrow is Coptic Cairo with Ayman (not the metro this time) and then another lazy day on the falooca and then the Citadel! woo hoo! At that point, we'll be starting school (Sun Jan 9th). I hope reality doesn't hurt too badly come Sunday morning (lol).

My mom and I both enjoy the unique look of the buildings, etc and lampposts - she got some neat shots!

heiroglyphics, sphynx's and mummies OH MY!

I really liked this "angle"

can you find the lovely dung beetle Joshua found - sigh - LOLOL
