Introducing....Yoda!

Yoda is a treasured surprise gift to our family this week! What a pleasant surprise! We hope he doesn't meet the same fate as Jack and Annie....he is very active and eats heartily, already he seems healthier just for those two things!

Here are some photos of Yoda today as well as Joshua's x-wing fighter he made himself off a picture on a Star Wars DVD. The other photos were from Wed morning when I had Joshua close his eyes and see what our friend brought the night before.....he was SO shocked and happy! We really enjoy him! Jasmine, what a dear, wasn't sure what to think..now she, bless her heart, talks to him like he's a baby (which really annoys Joshua and then I laugh).

Davy, that last one is for you, by request! I am posting it here in case other friends might want to see it as well!! Can you build this x-wing fighter and show us your work? anyone?! we'd love to see it!!!

We don't know what type of turtle that Yoda is, just that he is aquatic and that his type comes from N Sudan area that borders Upper Egypt.

shokran geddan, ya m! eHna benHebbak awi!

Of course his name is Yoda because...well..he's green and Joshua is into building Star Wars space craft tho he's never seen the movies.
