Christmas Family Traditions - Part 3

Since Joshua was 2, I have made gingerbread houses at Christmastime. We thought we wouldn't be able to repeat this year...but...Grandma thought ahead and bought a package! Here's a glimpse of yesterday...thanks for looking!!

Typically we would do this prior to Christmas, leave it up for a couple of weeks...however here...with very limited space, we had to put all the homeschool supplies by my bed already for Christmas dinner...so we couldn't do it ahead of time...and we couldn't save the houses...can't bait the cochroaches, ants and rats anymore than we already do! eek!

We enjoyed our time yesterday building and photographing!

We've been playing monopoly a bit every day as well as enjoying the club some - TOMORROW IS GIZA!! you know what that means, right? PYRAMIDS!! CAMELS!! SPHYNX!! OH MY!!!

Yeah for grandma thinking ahead! We too build a gingerbread house every year. It's one of Clare's favorite holiday traditions. I hope that you enjoyed them as long as you could!

Enjoy the rest of your holiday break, and your time with your mom. HUGS!!!

Mom's (Grandma's) are great for thinking ahead with things like that! So glad you were able to continue with several of your traditions! We have a stocking hunt every year, that's one the kids look forward to!
Have a Happy New Year!

Yeah! More Camels and Pyramids-looking forward to the pictures!
